Staging a Home for Sale with our Wood and Ceramic Art

August 11, 2017 – Our neighbor, Tish, is moving away, sad to say. She asked us about a month ago if we wanted to provide some of our woodturnings and ceramic art to stage her home for the upcoming open house. She even suggested we put “Artwork provided by…” signs with our website shown on little tent cards. The house has lots of built-in shelving which she wanted to jazz up a bit. We ended up leaving about twelve vases, bowls and wooden vessels for display. Today she told us that she has a contract already!  And some of her friends who’d visited in the interim were interested in buying some of our stuff!  So this afternoon we walked over, picked up the unwanted ones, and left the five or six that folks had shown an interest in for her to total up and finalize transactions!  What a great deal for her and for us!  And more sales!  Always good!
